Common use of LIFE PERIOD Clause in Contracts

LIFE PERIOD. (i) Short-life items (which have a life-period of eighteen months or less) ,should not have passed¼th life at the time of supply. (ii) The firms should confirm that the supplied consumables are properly packed, having the minimum 80% Shelf life on the date of supply. If the consumable Item’s life is nearer to its 20% Shelf life, the Supplier Agency will take back it and replace with new one having minimum 80% shelf life without any additional cost to AIIMS Bhopal as and when intimated in writing. (iii) In respect of items not covered by clause (I) & (ii) above, items should not be older than one year from the date of manufacturing at the time of supply.
