Limited Extension of Fatigue Provisions for Overtime Performed on Weekends. Where a resident medical officer is placed on-call on Saturdays and/or Sundays, the resident medical officer cannot be recalled to duty for a period of 12 consecutive hours or more, without being provided with a mandatory 8 hours break immediately following that period of recall. The 8 hours reference will be increased to 10 hours in accordance with the timeframes outlined in 7.3.
