University Obligations (a) The University must, and must ensure its Personnel:
Off Duty day - Except where the provisions of 10.3.1 apply, if a public holiday, other than Waitangi Day and ANZAC Day, falls on a rostered employee's off duty day (such off duty day not being a Saturday or a Sunday) the employee shall be granted an additional day's leave at a later date convenient to the Employer.
Off Duty Rights When calls are made by the Employer for casual employees to report to work, the acceptance of such work shall be at the employee’s discretion. Where a casual employee has not accepted such work for a period longer than three (3) months, the Employer and the Union shall meet to discuss the bona fides of the refusal and the continued employment of the employee. Where there is no bona fide reason for the refusal of work and a further three (3) months has elapsed without any shifts worked by the employee, the casual employee will be deleted from the casual call- in list.
Examples of Items/Conditions Not Covered Any gas service lines in excess of 500 feet in length; high pressure gas lines and the high pressure service line which is defined as a natural gas supply line with a pressure rating of 60 psi or greater; natural gas meter including connections; appliances or appliance connectors or burner tips; any gas service line not measuring between ½” and 1 ¼” in diameter; utility meters; any interior gas piping. City Obligations 26.1 City shall provide full information in a timely manner regarding requirements for and limitations on projects and work tasks. Extra Duties The Trustee shall be entitled to refuse to approve any Substituted Obligor if, pursuant to the law of the jurisdiction of incorporation of the Substituted Obligor, the assumption by the Substituted Obligor of its obligations hereunder imposes responsibilities on the Trustee over and above those which have been assumed under this Trust Deed.

If a tour of duty extends beyond 2400 hours it shall be considered as falling wholly within the calendar day in which it started.
