Log Barging. The Guild and the Company agree that Employees engaged in Log Barging operations will be paid a flat hourly rate of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per hour in addition to their regular wage for the following duties related to log barge loading/unloading operations. ⮚ Sidewinder/Dozer boat operations. ⮚ Sidewinder/Dozer maintenance/repairs. ⮚ Crane preventative maintenance including greasing and assisting in repairs when supervised by a qualified operator/mechanic. Cook/Deckhands will retain the right of first refusal for Sidewinder/Dozer boat time with the exception of one (1) hour before and one (1) hour after meal times. The rate will not pertain to chaining, unchaining or fueling cranes which is considered part regular boat operations in support of barging.
