Common use of Long Lead-Time Items Clause in Contracts

Long Lead-Time Items. The Construction Manager shall recommend to the Owner and Architect a schedule for procurement of long-lead-time items which will constitute part of the Work as required to meet the Project schedule. The Construction Manager shall expedite the procurement and delivery of long-lead-time items. The Owner shall approve in writing the procurement of long lead time items by the Construction Manager prior to the issuance of a Notice to Proceed.
