Common use of Long Term Absence of a Student Clause in Contracts

Long Term Absence of a Student. If it is known that a student will be absent from school for more than fifteen (15) school days, the Transportation Supervisor shall review the situation and determine if a bus assistant is still needed. If the bus assistant is not needed, he/she may displace the least senior bus assistant to maintain his/her current hours. The bus assistant shall displace only the run(s) which are reduced.
