M DAY ENTITLEMENT. When the employee’s M Day bank has accumulated not less than 6 hours, he or she shall be entitled to an M Day. If an employee’s M day bank has not accumulated 6 hours, top up may occur by transferring time from the following banks: annual vacation, banked overtime, banked statutory holidays. The banks to be used and the order of preference will be selected by the employee no later than the first pay period of the payroll years or as soon as is practicable for new employees..
