Common use of Major Medical Benefit Plan Clause in Contracts

Major Medical Benefit Plan. 25.01 The Employer agrees, during the term of this Agreement to continue to pay the full cost of premiums towards coverage of all eligible full-time employees under the Major Medical Benefit Plan with Great West Life (or to provide comparable coverage with another carrier) subject to the terms and conditions of the plan. Premiums payable by the Employer shall be prorated in the proportion of the permanent part-time employee’s scheduled hours. The permanent part-time employee shall be responsible for their portion of the premium. This amount shall be deducted from the permanent part-time employee’s pay.
