Common use of Make-up Work Clause in Contracts

Make-up Work. Employees may be permitted to make up time lost for neces- sary absences of short duration if the District has a need for services or professional develop- ment. This time may include the opportunity to make up for lost time on a day school was can- celed or otherwise altered. All make-up work must be preapproved by the direct supervisor and must be accounted for in the same pay period the service was completed.
