Malfunction of the player protection register. The Authority provides the Organiser with an electronic excerpt containing a non-reversible alphanumeric code generated from the Players’ personal data. The use of the electronic excerpt shall be considered as a malfunction if the result of the query by the Organiser of the alphanumeric code generated from the Player's personal data cannot be determined within 30 seconds after the query has been initiated, when comparing the alphanumeric code generated from the Player's personal data with the alphanumeric code contained in the excerpt. The Organiser shall be exempted from the verification obligation applicable to new registrations and continuous Player control in cases of registration or online logins affected by a malfunction.
