Management of Special and Technical Environment. The employee demonstrates competency in managing and organizing the special materials, equipment and environment essential to the specialized program by: (1) Selecting or recommending evaluative devices, materials, and/or equipment appropriate to student needs; (2) Demonstrating the use of and an understanding of the limitations and restrictions of devices, materials, and procedures; (3) Using comparative and interpretive data based on student needs; (4) Providing an environment which protects student and family right to privacy, as mandated by federal and state regulations, and District policies.
