Any correspondence or any questions with regards to the performance of the contract will be addressed to him or her, unless explicitly mentioned otherwise in these Tender Specifications. The managing official is responsible for the follow-up of the performance of the contract. • The managing official is fully competent for the follow-up of the satisfactory performance of the contract, including issuing service orders, drawing up reports and states of affairs, approving the services, progress reports and reviews. He or she may order any modifications to the contract with regards to its subject-matter provided that they remain within its scope. • However, the signing of amendments or any other decision or agreement implying derogation from the essential terms and conditions of the contract are not part of the competence of the managing official.
