Mandatory Meetings. All residential students are required to attend the following building meetings. Time & locations will be communicated by the RAs through individual contact, emails and/or signs in the buildings. A $25 fee will be charged to any students who do not attend without an approved absence. The meetings will be held on the following dates (dates subject to change): Monday, August 30th, 2021 – 7:00 or 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2021 Monday, February 1, 2022 Tuesday, April 27, 2022
Mandatory Meetings. The scheduling of administratively mandated meetings and 2 other similar functions shall be limited to two per month. A faculty meeting is an example 3 of an administratively mandated meeting. An Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meeting 4 is not an example of an administratively mandated meeting. Meetings for the purpose of 5 curriculum planning, with the involvement of administration, are acceptable so long as the 6 number of meetings is reasonable. The TALC Labor/Management Committee shall review 7 situations where the number of meetings is of concern.
Mandatory Meetings. The expectation is that staff meetings should last no more than ninety (90) minutes. A schedule of all mandatory meetings shall be forwarded to the IUSD Department of Human Resources. District management shall raise awareness with principals about the purpose of meetings and the spirit of the agreement.
Mandatory Meetings. A mandatory meeting is one where there may or may not be advance notice, is subject to emergency need and may be held at any time. Mandatory meetings are not subject to refusal by the employee and must be attended unless the employee can show compelling individual circumstances which involve a matter that mandates the employee's attendance elsewhere. Mandatory meetings are subject to the call-out provision of the Agreement.
Mandatory Meetings. A maximum of twelve (12) paid hours in-service may be required of each bus driver, bus assistant and child nutrition employee. A required meeting by support employee's immediate administrator which exceeds the support employee's regular working day will be subject to time and one-half of overtime pay unless the meeting is required as per job description. The support employee shall be informed before attendance at a meeting if the meeting carries points toward meeting required improvement points.
Mandatory Meetings. All mandatory meetings scheduled for any classification shall be compensated at the regular rate of salary. Meeting notices shall clearly state whether a meeting is mandatory or voluntary.
Mandatory Meetings. A. If employees are required by a department head to attend a scheduled mandatory meeting outside of their regularly scheduled work day, they shall be paid for the actual hours attending the meeting, or a minimum of four (4) hours, whichever is greater.
B. Such time will be considered administrative duty.
Mandatory Meetings. Any bargaining unit member required to attend meetings called by administrators, directors, and/or principals outside their work day, work hours, or work year shall be paid for all time spent in such meeting(s) at the appropriate rate of pay.
Mandatory Meetings. School-based support staff shall meet with school-based 37 administration at least once per quarter during their work day for a minimum of fifteen (15) 38 minutes. Support staff meetings shall be for the purpose of improving communication and 39 to provide job specific training. The SPALC Labor/Management Committee shall review 40 situations where support staff meetings are a concern.
Mandatory Meetings. The Employer may require the employee to attend certain meetings. Should attendance be required, the Employer will provide a minimum of fourteen (14) days advance notice. Employees will be paid for actual time in attendance. The Employer agrees to schedule staff meetings during regular working hours whenever possible. Employees who choose to attend will be paid for actual time in attendance. Meetings minutes will be posted electronically. Employees who choose not to attend will be responsible for reading staff meeting minutes and following direction, etc. contained therein.
