Standard Work Day. The standard work day for non-shift employees shall be seven (7) hours exclusive of the meal period.
Standard Work Day. The work day for teachers shall include:
7 (a) Instruction: The length of the instructional period each day will be determined by the 8 individual school’s master schedule.
Standard Work Day. A typical work day may be up to an eight and one half (8-1/2) work shift inclusive of one thirty minute meal period. The thirty-minute meal period will be unpaid.
Standard Work Day. The standard work day is any eight (8) hour period of work, between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays at the Supplier location providing Professional Services.
Standard Work Day. All regular bus attendants and monitors will be guaranteed a 14 minimum of six (6) hours per day when school is in session. All hours worked beyond 40 15 hours in the work week will be paid per Article 7.04(2)(a)(1) of this agreement. The 16 minimum requirements shall not apply to summer school.
Standard Work Day. The total length of the work day shall not exceed seven and one-half (7.5) hours including a thirty (30) minute duty free lunch period. The employee’s total instruction/contract time shall not exceed three hundred and ten (310) minutes per day, exclusive of break time. During the seven and one-half (7.5) hour standard work day, employees will be assigned to such activities as:
1. Curriculum work;
2. Classroom instruction;
3. Supervision of students;
4. Conference with parents and students;
5. Classroom management.
Standard Work Day. 1. The teacher's normal working day shall be as follows: Teachers High School--6 classes of approximately 50 minutes Starting Time 7:30 a.m. End of Day 2:46 p.m. Middle School--6 classes and a home room period of not more than 10 minutes Starting Time 7:20 a.m. End of Day 2:36 p.m. Lakeview School Starting Time 8:30 a.m. End of Day 3:46 p.m.
a. Teachers will still be required to work 7 hours 16 minutes.
b. Earlier student starting times (and/or revised teacher Starting Times/End of Day) shall be agreed upon by the Administration, the affected teacher(s) and the Association.
c. To comply with state requirements on the total annual instructional hours, flexibility will be needed in the design of the instructional day. Changes will be made within the parameters of the teacher's standard work day as defined above. The Association will be consulted regarding the design of the instructional day.
2. All teachers shall be entitled to a duty-free lunch period of not less than thirty (30) minutes as defined in each building by the building principal.
3. Work schedules and professional assignments will be confined to the standard work day (including scheduled parent-teacher conferences, evening parent-teacher conferences to be treated as one-half teacher day on the school calendar) except for normal deviations such as, but not limited to, I.E.P.s, meetings with parents, etc. and teachers voluntarily involved in student performing groups or those compensated under the extracurricular schedule.
4. When an occasion arises when a teacher feels it is necessary to leave the building during regular teaching hours while students are in class, the matter must be discussed with and approved by the building principal or his assistant. Teachers may leave five (5) minutes after the students on days when they have to return in the evening for school-related activities or on the day prior to a vacation and on Friday.
Standard Work Day. The standard workday shall be 8.5 consecutive hours including a 15-minute morning and a 15-minute afternoon work break, and a forty (40) minute lunch break, which shall include any wash-up time. The standard workday shall begin at 7:00 AM and end at 3:30 PM, the last ten (10) minutes of which shall be available for wash-up time. Minimum seventy-two (72) hours’ notice will be provided by the Town for non-emergency changes in schedule.
Standard Work Day. An employee’s standard work day shall be the number of hours specified in his/her Notice of Tentative Assignment, or in the most recent notice of change in assignment as approved by the School Board or designee.
Standard Work Day. The standard work day shall be eight (8) hours of work in a twenty-four (24) hour day for a total of ten (10) standard work days in a fourteen (14) consecutive day work period. Work days which deviate from this standard are considered as "non-standard" work days.
