Common use of MAXIMUM VACATION ACCRUAL CAP Clause in Contracts

MAXIMUM VACATION ACCRUAL CAP. Employees will continue to accrue vacation time each pay period up to the Maximum Vacation Accrual Cap (as set forth below). No additional vacation will accrue until vacation time is taken and the balance (includes Genesis vacation hours and acquisition vacation carry over hours) falls below the Maximum Accrual Cap. Employees accruing at the 2 week level have an 80 hours maximum accrual cap Employees accruing at the 3 week level have a 120 hour maximum accrual cap. Employees accruing at the 4 week level have a 160 hour maximum accrual cap. Full-time employees hired on or before October 31, 2013 will accrue vacation hours as follows: Months of Service Vacation Accrual Rate Per Hour Annual Maximum Vacation Accrual 3-12 Months 0.0256 40 Hours 12-24 Months 0.0384 80 Hours 25-60 Months 0.0576 120 Hours 61-80 Months 0.0769 160 Hours Full-time employees hired on or after November 1, 2013 and all part-time employees will accrue vacation hours as follows: Months of Service New Eligible Employees Annual Maximum Vacation Accrual Rate Maximum Service Between 0 and 48 Months (2-Week Rate) 0.038462 80 hours 80 hours Service Greater Than 48 to 108 Months (3-Week Rate) 0.057692 120 hours 120 hours Service Greater Than 108 Months (4-Week Rate) 0.076923 160 hours 160 hours
