Common use of Medical and Workers’ Compensation Payments Clause in Contracts

Medical and Workers’ Compensation Payments. As a condition to Owner’s performance, Contractor shall promptly, when due, make payment to any person, partnership, association, company, or corporation furnishing medical, surgical, or hospital care or other needed care and attention, incident to sickness or injury, to the Contractor’s employees. Contractor agrees to pay for all such services, including from monies the Contractor has collected or deducted from the wages of personnel pursuant to any law, contract, or agreement for providing or paying for such services. Contractor shall comply with and shall ensure all Subcontractors and Sub-subcontractors comply with ORS Chapter 656.
