Common use of Meetings and Hearings Clause in Contracts

Meetings and Hearings. All meetings and hearings under this procedure shall be conducted in executive session unless a public hearing is requested by the grievant(s) or as otherwise required by law. The grievance will be heard in executive session at Level III if it involves confidential matters regarding other employees or students. At Level IV, the Arbitrator will decide whether the hearing will be open or closed to the public, upon the request of either party.
