Method of Accumulation. ‌ Sick leave shall be cumulative from year to year and there shall be no limit on the number of days of sick leave an employee may accrue; provided, that at least one-half of this cumulative leave must be established within the Palm Beach County School District. An employee returning to the system after a leave of absence or resignation shall be entitled to the accrued balance credited at the time of such leave or resignation.
