Common use of Method of Notification Clause in Contracts

Method of Notification. Notices must be given by (a) established express delivery service that maintains delivery records, (b) hand delivery, or (c) certified or registered mail, postage prepaid, return receipt requested. Notices are effective upon receipt, or upon attempted delivery if delivery is refused or if delivery is impossible because of the recipient’s failure to provide a reasonable means for accomplishing delivery.
