Common use of Military Duty, Jury Duty and Court Appearances Clause in Contracts

Military Duty, Jury Duty and Court Appearances. For leaves of absence which do not require prior approval by the Civil Service Board or the appointing authority, such as military duty, jury duty, and appearances before a court, notice shall be given by the Employee immediately upon his/her knowledge of the need for such leave.
