MILITARY SERVICE VETERANS. Section 1. The reemployment of military service veterans shall be in accordance with the applicable statutes in effect at the time of the reemployment. Section 2. In the event that a City employee is called to active military service, the City shall continue to provide paid health and hospitalization insurance for the employee's covered dependents for a period of up to one (1) year.
