CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION. The parties hereto agree that the employees covered by this Agreement shall be considered engaged in the type of work and classification as set forth on Schedule A attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION. The City of Rialto Classification and Compensation Plan authorized by the City Council will be the guiding document for citywide budgeted positions and salary ranges.
CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION. Definition: Conduct an analysis of the individual position to identify and describe the different kinds of work in an organization and group similar positions under common classification titles based upon the kind of work, degree of difficulty and the, responsibilities required. • Review position descriptions; determine appropriate classification, document audit decisions, and explain the rationale for classification decisions. MNsure/DHS Interagency Agreement • Coordinate Hay sessions when applicable. • Conduct studies of groups of positions as necessary. • Approve or deny compensation requests for new hires or promotions. • Supervisors will receive notification of positions that are ending each quarter. MNsure must provide documentation of requests to convert unclassified position to the classified service at least one month in advance of the end of the unclassified position. DHS has received delegated authority from MMB-Enterprise Human Resources to make classification and compensation decisions. DHS must abide by accepted practices and rules governing classification and compensation in order to retain this delegation. MMB-Enterprise Human Resources periodically audits DHS's work to determine compliance with rules and laws.
CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION a. The parties hereto agree that the employees covered by this Agreement shall be considered in the type of work and classification as set forth on Schedule A, attached hereto and made a part of hereof by reference. Also, in addition, in recognition of service to the district, each employee upon retirement from the Xxxxx Public Schools and under the Michigan Retirement Laws, shall be paid a terminal leave payment of sixty dollars ($60.00) for each year of service to the district and twenty-five ($25.00) per day of accumulated sick leave, provided the employee has been employed by the district for at least ten (10) years.
b. In case of involuntary separation due to the loss of positions or privatization, employees with at least ten (10) years of service will be paid sixty dollars ($60.00) for each year of service to the district and twenty five ($25.00) dollars per day for each day of accumulated sick leave.

SECTION A - Classification The parties hereto agree that the employees covered by this Agreement shall be considered engaged in the type of work and classification as set forth on Schedule A attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference. SECTION B - Compensation The basic compensation of each employee shall be as set forth in Appendix A. When an employee is reassigned from one classification to another, the employee will be compensated at the appropriate pay rate. A new hire with relevant work experience may be given experience credit as determined by the employer up to Step 2. By agreement with the Association at the request of the employer, a new hire may be paid above Step 2. When an employee is promoted to a higher classification, the employer will determine the appropriate step that the employee will enter the new classification. However, the employee will not receive a lower hourly pay rate than the employee was previously receiving. SECTION C - Overtime Overtime work will be voluntary to the extent feasible but may be required. In order to be compensated for any overtime, the overtime must be requested and approved in advance by the Food Service Director or someone they designate. The Director must have approval of the Superintendent to authorize overtime but that will not be the employees' responsibility. Using substitutes or assigning overtime or not replacing absent employees will be discretionary with the employer. The following conditions shall apply to all overtime work:
1. Time and one-half will be paid for all hours worked over forty (40) hours in one (1) week.
2. Paid leaves shall not count toward hours worked.
3. Compensatory time off may be given if mutually agreeable to the employer and the employee.
4. Overtime shall be divided and rotated as equally as possible within the building according to seniority and among those employees who regularly perform such work provided they are qualified to perform such work.
5. It is recognized that overtime is a responsibility of the job. When there is an insufficient number of volunteers for overtime, overtime may be assigned to that qualified employee in the building who has worked the least amount of overtime during the current school year.

CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION. Section 1. The following language is intended to supersede all provisions applicable to public employees in the Ohio Revised Code and/or the Rules of the Ohio Department of Administrative Services relative to classifications. Employees will be paid in accordance with the classification and pay plan set forth in this Agreement.
Section 2. It is the responsibility of the University to establish and maintain a system of classification specifications and concurrent wage and salary programs for the positions covered by this Agreement. Classification specifications will be prepared for each position covered by this Agreement and these specifications will be maintained and updated as required by the University. Positions covered by this Agreement will be classified in accordance with their duties, skills and qualifications. Positions will be assigned to appropriate wage ranges in accordance with the position classification. All current authorized bargaining unit classifications and corresponding pay grades are found in Appendix 1. Classifications consisting of like jobs will be placed into a series for purposes of provisions of Articles 11 and 12. The current authorized classification series are found in Appendix 3. In the event the University changes the specification of a classification or creates a new classification, it shall immediately notify the Union. If the Union believes that the specification changes merit a change in pay grade or disagrees with the pay grade assigned to a new classification, it shall so notify the University and the parties shall meet to negotiate the classification's placement in a pay grade. If the parties are unable to reach agreement, the matter may be arbitrated pursuant to Article 10. The University shall not reduce a classification's pay grade without the Union's agreement. The University may establish new classifications whose duties, skills and qualifications are different from an existing classification.
Section 3. In conducting a job classification review, a position description questionnaire (PDQ) is used to collect sufficient information about the position duties, responsibilities and qualifications in order that an appropriate assignment of a classification and corresponding pay grade can be made by Human Resources.
