Common use of Military Training Leave Clause in Contracts

Military Training Leave. Any regular employee who is a member of the National Guard or organized military reserves of the United States, and who is ordered to attend a period of active duty training shall be allowed up to fifteen (15) calendar days leave per calendar year for such purpose. During such leave, employees shall be paid the difference between their regular pay, including longevity pay, and their military pay and longevity, if any. Such military training leaves shall not be deducted from accrued annual leave. Employees ordered to attend additional periods of military training may take annual leave or leave without pay for such training.
