Common use of MINIMUM CALL-IN TIME RATE Clause in Contracts

MINIMUM CALL-IN TIME RATE. Any employee called in to work on a day or at a time when the employee is not normally scheduled to work shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours pay at the appropriate rate of pay under this Agreement. Exception: Employees will be paid for time worked if called in to work any additional period of time immediately before their scheduled daily start time. The employee will work their regular shift unless they request and are given permission to work an alternate shift.
