Common use of MINIMUM SHIFT Clause in Contracts

MINIMUM SHIFT. 14.01 Full-time employees shall be scheduled in accordance with Article 8 of this Agreement. A full-time employee shall not have their scheduled work day shortened, and shall not suffer any loss of pay on such day by reason of no work or insufficient work being available. 14.02 Part-time employees, when called in and who report for work and no work is available, shall be paid for four (4) hours at their regular hourly rate of pay. No part-time employees attending school (the word “school” shall not include night school) shall be called in or paid for less than three (3) hours per day during a school day, and four (4) hours per day during a non-school day, or during summer school recess.
