Common use of MINIMUM SHIFT Clause in Contracts

MINIMUM SHIFT. 10.01 No employee shall be scheduled to work for less than three (3) hours in any one (1) shift. If no work or insufficient work is available, said employee shall nevertheless be paid for the full three (3) hours at their appropriate hourly rate of pay. 10.02 No employee shall be called in on a scheduled day off to work for less than three (3) hours in any one (1) shift. If no work or insufficient work is available, said employee shall nevertheless be paid for the full three (3) hours. 10.03 Any employee called in to work for the purposes of training outside of regularly scheduled hours shall be paid at straight time for all time spent in the hotel or three (3) hours at the appropriate rate of pay, whichever is greater.
