Missed Overtime. If a qualified employee is missed as a result of a good faith mistake when it was his opportunity to work overtime, he shall be given the opportunity to work overtime, subject to seniority rights, on work for which he is qualified, when the next comparable overtime is required. The missed overtime work opportunity will be made within thirty (30) calendar days or paid out. However should an error occur other than above, the Company will pay the amount of the missed overtime opportunity.
Missed Overtime. Only in the event of a blatant overtime missed assignment, where management has not corrected a reported error, will pay be rewarded. All other overtime missed assignments will be corrected by the subsequent assignment of overtime work.
Missed Overtime. Missed overtime shall follow the grievance process. a) If a qualified employee is missed as a result of a good faith mistake when it was their opportunity to work overtime, they shall be given a comparable in-kind opportunity to work overtime. The missed overtime work opportunity will be made within thirty (30) calendar days. b) However, should an error occur other than above, the Employer will pay three (3) hours at straight time for the missed overtime opportunity and another opportunity as listed in a).

  • Scheduled Overtime Scheduled overtime is overtime which is assigned by the end of the employee's last worked shift prior to the overtime assignment and which does not immediately precede or immediately follow a scheduled work shift. Unless notified otherwise in advance of the scheduled starting time of the scheduled overtime assignment, any employee who is scheduled to report for work and who reports as scheduled shall be assigned at least two (2) hours work. If work is not available, the employee may be excused from duty and paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate. If the employee begins work but is excused from duty before completing two (2) hours of work, the employee shall be paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate.

  • Unscheduled Overtime I. a payment of forty dollars ($40.00) as a meal allowance. II. a payment of thirty (30) minutes at straight time rates in lieu of the meal break: and III. a fifteen (15) minute rest break at the applicable rate of pay

  • Daily Overtime All employees shall be paid the applicable overtime rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) for all time worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day.

  • Payment of Overtime For the purposes of calculating overtime payments, each day or shift will stand-alone.
