Modifications to Office and HHWTF Sample Clauses

Modifications to Office and HHWTF. The revisions to be made are based on an edited version of the site plan provided by the County on August 8, 2002. As shown on the August 8, 2002 site plan, the County is planning on bidding the project with the revisions to the office building, HHWTF, and storage area as one option (Bid A) and deleting the office building, including the associated foundation, as the second option (Bid B). For the first option, the office building will be modified from a two-story structure to a one-story, light-gage stud metal building. The building will retain the same general footprint and first floor layout as current design; however the previous stair and elevator space will become an additional office. The HHWTF storage area will be modified by increasing the Latex Paint Storage by 8 feet (resulting in 3 each 30 foot bays). The Flammables Storage area will shift north but remain close to the current size. The covered walkway to the office building will be maintained. For the second option, the office building, including the associated foundation, will be completely eliminated. The covered walkway will extend to the end of the Latex Paint Storage area. Stamped construction drawings and specifications will be prepared for the modified facility. As a basis for design, the office and storage area will be supported on piles, and the storage area structure will be executed on foundation designed by the structural engineer (GEZ). The revised drawings will be provided for review and approval by the County at approximately 30 and 90 percent complete stages. The deliverables are 3 full size sets of stamped drawings, modified technical specifications as “Word” files, revised structural calculations, and updated CAD files on CD. Assumptions have been made as follows:
