Common use of Moments of Observance Clause in Contracts

Moments of Observance. Employees will be allowed to observe one minute of silence each April 28th during the dayshift lunch break in recognition of National Day of Mourning for those workers who have died as the result of a work place accident. Employees will be allowed to observe one minute of silence each December 6th during the dayshift lunch break in recognition of Violence Against Women. Employees will be allowed to observe one minute of silence (will cease production when necessary) each November 11th at 11:00 a.m. in recognition of Remembrance Day.
