MOVEMENT OF FURNITURE. FREIGHT, OF BULKY MATTER: The carrying in or out of safes, freight, furniture, or bulky matter of any description must take place during such hours as Lessor may from time to time reasonably determine and only after advance notice to the superintendent of the building. The persons employed by Lessee for such work must be reasonably acceptable to the Lessor. Lessee may, subject to Lessor's prior approval, move freight, furniture, bulky matter, and other material into or out of the premises on Saturdays between the hours of 9:00 a.m., and 3:00 p.m., provided Lessee pays additional costs, if any, incurred by Lessor for elevator operators or security guards, and for any other expenses occasioned by such activity of Lessee. If, at least three days prior to such activity, Lessor requests that Lessee deposit with lessor, as security for Lessee's obligation to pay such additional cost, a sum of which Lessor reasonably estimates to be the amount of such additional cost, the Lessee shall deposit such sum with Lessor as security for such cost. There shall not be used in the Office Building or premises, either by Lessee or by others in the delivery or receipt of merchandise, any hand trucks except those equipped with rubber tires and side guards, and no hand trucks will be allowed in the elevators without the consent of the superintendent of the building. Lessee shall be responsible for the cost of removal of all boxes, garbage and debris caused by the movement of the furniture, freight or delivery of materials. Lessee shall notify the superintendent of the building at least 24 hours in advance of any anticipated deliveries which will require the removal of debris.

Tenant may, subject to such provisions, move freight, furniture, bulky matter, and other material into or out of the premises on Saturdays between the hours of eight (8) a.m. and six (6) p.m., provided Tenant pays additional costs, if any, incurred by Landlord for elevator operators or security guards, and for other expenses occasioned by such activity by Tenant.

MOVEMENT OF FURNITURE. At the Client’s request, it shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to move and replace all items necessary for performing services as required. Items shall include, but are not limited to, systems furniture, desks, chairs, filing cabinets, bookcases, credenzas, photocopiers, office equipment, boxed material, printers, and the contents thereof with the exception of computer systems and computer related items. If the Client determines they will provide the moving service it will be a coordinated effort between contractor and the Client’s Moving and Hauling to arrange method and schedule. Use of a third party subcontractor shall be acceptable.

Related to MOVEMENT OF FURNITURE

  • Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment Sublessee shall have the right to use during the Term the office furnishings and equipment within the Subleased Premises that are identified on Exhibit C attached hereto, as such exhibit may be adjusted by mutual agreement of the parties prior to the Third Floor Premises Delivery Date (the “Furniture”), provided Sublessee may only use the Furniture located in the Second Floor Premises after the Second Floor Commencement Date. The Furniture is provided in its “AS IS, WHERE IS” condition, without representation or warranty whatsoever. Sublessee shall insure the Furniture under the property insurance policy required under the Master Lease, as incorporated herein, and pay all taxes with respect to the Furniture. Sublessee shall maintain the Furniture in good condition and repair, reasonable wear and tear excepted, and shall be responsible for any loss or damage to the same occurring during the Term. Sublessee shall surrender the Furniture to Sublessor upon the termination of this Sublease in the same condition as exists as of the applicable Delivery Date, reasonable wear and tear excepted. Sublessee shall not remove any of the Furniture from the Subleased Premises. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, Sublessee may provide Sublessor with written notice one (1) time not less than forty-five (45) days prior to the Third Floor Premises Delivery Date that lists any items of Furniture that Sublessee does not want to use and Sublessor shall, at no cost to Sublessee, remove such items from the Subleased Premises prior to the Third Floor Premises Delivery Date and such items shall no longer be considered Furniture hereunder. Notwithstanding the foregoing, provided Sublessee is not in default beyond the expiration of any applicable cure or grace period as of the date of the expiration or earlier termination of this Sublease, which condition may be waived by Sublessor in its sole discretion, then upon the expiration or earlier termination of this Sublease, the Furniture shall become the property of Sublessee, and Sublessee shall accept the same in its “AS IS, WHERE IS” condition, without representation or warranty whatsoever except as provided in the Bill of Sale referred to in the following sentence. In the event the Furniture is to become the property of Sublessee upon the expiration or earlier termination of this Sublease pursuant to the terms of the immediately preceding sentence, then Sublessor agrees to execute and deliver to Sublessee a Bill of Sale in the form of Exhibit D attached hereto conveying and transferring to Sublessee the Furniture.

  • Furniture Misuse of University property, including possession of common area furniture in on-campus housing is prohibited and may result in a replacement charge and/or return of the property.

  • Removal of Fixtures (a) So long as the Tenant is not in default hereunder at the expiration of the Term, the Tenant shall then have the right to remove its trade fixtures from the Premises but shall make good any damage caused to the Premises resulting from the installation or removal thereof; provided that all alterations, additions and improvements constructed and installed in the Premises and attached in any manner to the floors, walls or ceiling, including any floor covering and light fixtures, are hereby deemed not to be trade fixtures and shall remain upon and be surrendered with the Premises, except to the extent the Landlord requires removal thereof. (b) If the Tenant fails to remove its trade fixtures and restore the Premises as aforesaid, all such trade fixtures shall become the property of the Landlord except to the extent that the Landlord continues to require removal thereof. (c) Should the Tenant abandon the Premises or should this Lease be terminated before the proper expiration of the Term due to a default on the part of the Tenant then, in such event, as of the moment of default by the Tenant, all trade fixtures and furnishings of the Tenant (whether or not attached in any manner to the Premises) shall, except to the extent the Landlord requires the removal thereof, become and be deemed to be the property of the Landlord, without indemnity to the Tenant and as additional liquidated damages in respect of such default but without prejudice to any other right or remedy of the Landlord. (d) Notwithstanding that any trade fixtures, alterations, additions, improvements or fixtures are or may become the property of the Landlord, the Tenant shall forthwith remove all or part of the same and shall make good any damage caused to the Premises resulting from the installation or removal thereof, all at the Tenant’s expense, should the Landlord so require by notice to the Tenant. (e) If the Tenant, after receipt of a notice from the Landlord, fails to promptly remove any trade fixtures, furnishings, alterations, additions, improvements and fixtures in accordance with such notice, then the Landlord may enter into the Premises and remove therefrom all or part of such trade fixtures, furnishings, alterations, additions, improvements and fixtures without any liability and at the expense of the Tenant, which expense shall forthwith be paid by the Tenant to the Landlord.

  • Certain Requirements as to Furniture, Equipment and Fixtures If the Assuming Institution purchases owned Bank Premises or accepts an assignment of the lease (or enters into a sublease or a new lease in lieu thereof) for leased Bank Premises as provided in Section 4.6(a) or 4.6(b), or if the Assuming Institution does not exercise such option but within twelve (12) months following Bank Closing obtains the right to occupy such premises (whether by assignment, lease, sublease, purchase or otherwise), other than in accordance with Section 4.6(a) or (b), the Assuming Institution shall (i) effective as of the date of Bank Closing, purchase from the Receiver all Furniture and Equipment and Fixtures owned by the Failed Bank at Fair Market Value and located thereon as of Bank Closing, (ii) accept an assignment or a sublease of the leases or negotiate new leases for all Furniture and Equipment and Fixtures leased by the Failed Bank and located thereon, and (iii) if applicable, accept an assignment or a sublease of any ground lease or negotiate a new ground lease with respect to any land on which such Bank Premises are located; provided, that the Receiver shall not have disposed of such Furniture and Equipment and Fixtures or repudiated the leases specified in clause (ii) or (iii).

  • Procurement of Small Works Works estimated to cost $250,000 equivalent or less per contract, up to an aggregate amount not to exceed $800,000 equivalent, may be procured under lump-sum, fixed-price contracts awarded on the basis of quotations obtained from three (3) qualified domestic contractors in response to a written invitation. The invitation shall include a detailed description of the works, including basic specifications, the required completion date, a basic form of agreement acceptable to the Bank, and relevant drawings, where applicable. The award shall be made to the contractor who offers the lowest price quotation for the required work, and who has the experience and resources to complete the contract successfully.   • Selection of Subcontractors, Procurement of Materials and Leasing of Equipment The contractor shall not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability in the selection and retention of subcontractors, including procurement of materials and leases of equipment.
