Common use of Multilingual Stipend Clause in Contracts

Multilingual Stipend. Employees who are certified to communicate in one or more languages other than English, to include American Sign Language (ASL), as part of their assigned duties or to assist as needed in the workplace, will receive a Multilingual Stipend of one dollar ($1.00) per hour to the base. The departmental Human Resources Director shall certify employees eligible to receive this stipend, consistent with the process determined by the Bureau of Human Resources.
