Common use of Negotiations During Term Clause in Contracts

Negotiations During Term. The parties mutually acknowledge that during the negotiations which resulted in this Contract, each had the unlimited opportunity to make demands and proposals regarding terms and conditions of employment. All understandings and agreements arrived at by the parties are set forth in this Contract. For the duration of this Contract, the Employer and the Union each voluntarily and unqualifiedly waives the right to meet and negotiate regarding any and all terms and conditions of employment, whether or not specifically referred to or covered in this Contract, even though such matters may not have been within the knowledge or contemplation of either or both parties at the time this Contract was negotiated or executed, provided, however, that any or all of the provisions of this Contract may be opened for negotiations at any time by mutual consent.
