Common use of New Bargaining Unit Orientation/Onboarding Sessions Clause in Contracts

New Bargaining Unit Orientation/Onboarding Sessions. A. The District will provide to the Association President and to the Association designee advanced written notice of the date, time and location via email or certified mail of all new Bargaining Unit Member orientation sessions. For the annual orientation session(s), the District will provide such notice to the Association no less than twenty-one (21) calendar days prior to the orientation session(s). For other orientation sessions that may occur throughout the year, such notice of the date, time and location shall be provided to the Association with as much notice as possible, but no less than ten (10) days prior to the new bargaining unit member orientation session. In the event the District is unable to comply with the stated amount of advanced notice due to an urgent need critical to the employer’s operations, the Association will be provided as much notice as possible. The Association shall notify the district of its representative plus one alternate in the event the representative is not available to meet at the designated time.
