Common use of NEW JOURNEYMAN Clause in Contracts

NEW JOURNEYMAN. (a.) The New Journeyman will come from ex-members of the Local Union who rejoin, and new members, who have the proper experience, but fails to score at least Eighty Percent 80% on the taper examination. The “New Journeyman” shall be referred out at ninety Percent (90%) of the Journeyman rate. The “New Journeyman” will receive full benefits. New Journeyman shall be required to have 2000 hours of OJL time and meet the following training classes (TBD) in order to advance to journeyman status.
