NO AUTHORITY TO BIND CITY. 15.2.1. It is further covenanted and agreed that no authority is given by this Agreement to the Concessionaire, expressly or impliedly, to bind the City for the payment of any money in connection with the construction/renovation, repairs, alterations, additions or reconstruction work relating to the Facilities, nor is there any authority given the Concessionaire hereby directly or indirectly to permit any mechanic’s, materialmen’s or contractors’ liens to arise against the Facilities, and the Concessionaire expressly agrees that it will keep and save the Facilities and the City harmless from all costs and damages resulting from any such liens or lien of any character created through any act or thing done by the Concessionaire.

NO AUTHORITY TO BIND CITY. It is further agreed that no authority is given by this agreement to Developer, expressly or impliedly, to bind the City for the payment of any money in connection with the planning, development, design, construction, repairs, alterations, additions or operations relating to the Premises, nor is there any authority given Developer hereby directly or indirectly to permit any mechanics’, materialmen’s or contractors’ liens to arise against the Premises, and Developer expressly agrees that it will keep and save the Premises and the City harmless from all costs and damages resulting from any such liens or lien of any character created through any act or thing done by Developer.

NO AUTHORITY TO BIND CITY. 13.2.1 It is further covenanted and agreed that no authority is given by this Agreement to the Concessionaire, expressly or impliedly, to bind the City for the payment of any money in connection with the construction/renovation, repairs, alterations, additions or reconstruction work relating to the spaces set forth in Exhibits “A” or “B” nor is there any authority given the Concessionaire hereby directly or indirectly to permit any mechanic's, materialmen's or contractors' liens to arise against such spaces, and the Concessionaire expressly agrees that it will keep and save such spaces and the City harmless from all costs and damages resulting from any such liens or lien of any character created through any act or thing done by the Concessionaire.
NO AUTHORITY TO BIND CITY. Other than in connection with the Services to be rendered pursuant to this Agreement, Contractor has no authority to enter into any contracts or agreements on behalf of City. This Agreement does not create a partnership, joint venture, or joint undertaking of any kind between the Parties.

The onus is on all intending bidders to seek the necessary confirmation from the Developer and/or relevant authorities regarding the said restrictions prior to the bidding. c. A person who has not reached the age of majority as defined under the Age of Majority Act 1971 (Act 21) or is below 18 years old or is an undischarged bankrupt or is of unsound mind or is not legally competent to purchase the Property as at the date of auction sale shall not be permitted to purchase or to bid in his/her personal capacity or to act as an agent of the principal at the auction sale. d. A foreign citizen or foreign company is only allowed to bid for the Property subject to the prevailing legal requirements, guidelines and/or existing policies and if the bid is successful, the sale is subject to the foreign citizen or foreign company applying and obtaining at his/her/its own costs the unconditional consent of the Economic Planning Unit (if any) and/or relevant State Authorities to the said sale in accordance with the terms stated below.

  • Authority to Bind Contractor The signatory for the Contractor represents that he/she has been duly authorized to execute this Contract on behalf of the Contractor and has obtained all necessary or applicable approvals to make this Contract fully binding upon the Contractor when his/her signature is affixed, and accepted by the State.
