Non-Accrual of Seniority. Seniority shall not accrue under the circumstances described below. a. An approved leave of absence shall qualify as continuous service, but seniority shall not accrue during the leave except as otherwise provided in this Agreement. b. Seniority shall not accrue for certified personnel while laid off. c. Seniority shall be adjusted for extended absences which occur during the school year, after allowances for the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) have been made.
