Non-Emergent. Medical Transportation (NEMT)
(1) As part of the approval process, the Contractor shall:
(a) Verify the member’s eligibility for NEMT services;
(b) Determine the appropriate mode of transportation for the member;
(c) Determine the appropriate level of service for the member;
(d) Approve or deny the request; and
(e) Enter the appropriate information into the Contractor’s system.
Non-Emergent. MDT (within 10 days), which may include the youth and their family, and will include a team of multidisciplinary professionals involved with the case where immediate safety risks may not be present.
Non-Emergent. When the employee is requested at a site for non-emergent requirements, it will be offered firstly to anyone who wishes to volunteer and should a volunteer not materialize, the most junior qualified individual will be required to move.
