Common use of NON-ESSENTIAL EMPLOYEES Clause in Contracts

NON-ESSENTIAL EMPLOYEES. Non-essential employees ordered not to work as the result of an official emergency shut-down of all or part of County operations shall receive regular compensation for the period of the shut-down not to exceed eight hours regular pay, irrespective of the length of the shut-down. Such limitation is subject to extension in the discretion of the Board of Chosen Freeholders.
