Common use of Non-Paid Disability Leave Clause in Contracts

Non-Paid Disability Leave. An employee may be granted a non-paid disability leave not to exceed twelve (12) months. Extensions may be considered in accordance with the ADA, as amended, and other similar laws. Any disability due to pregnancy shall be treated as any other disability leave. Fringe benefits and insurance shall be treated in accordance with the provisions specified in Personal Leaves of Absence.
