Non-Renewal of Probationary Staff. If after six (6) months of employment the University expects it will not renew the appointment of a probationary full-service bargaining unit member who has not successfully completed one continuous year of full time employment, the individual shall be informed of the expected non-renewal, in writing, by the department head or other administrative superior. At that time, a meeting will be held between the bargaining unit member, and his/her immediate supervisor, and said bargaining unit member will have an opportunity to be placed on a Professional Improvement Plan. Such a plan shall be developed with said bargaining unit member, his/her immediate supervisor and a Union representative. The complete Performance Improvement Plan will be forwarded to the Chief Human Resources Officer, or designee, for review and comment. Any improvement in the employee’s performance will be reviewed with the bargaining unit member, the employee’s immediate supervisor and a union representative within four (4) months from the date the Performance Improvement Plan was approved by the makers of the Plan. In the event the probationary bargaining unit member has not satisfactorily met the criteria outlined in his/her PIP, such probationary bargaining unit member will be subject to termination prior to the completion of one continuous year of full time employment.

At that time, a meeting will be held between the bargaining unit member, and his/her immediate supervisor, and said bargaining unit member will have an opportunity to be placed on a Professional Improvement Plan. Such a plan shall be developed with said bargaining unit member, his/her unit supervisor and a Union representative. The complete Performance Improvement Plan will be forwarded to Human Resources for compliance and reviewed with the bargaining unit member, the Unit Supervisor and a union representative within six (6) months from the date the Performance Improvement Plan was approved by the makers of the Plan.   • Renewal of Agreement This agreement does not automatically renew, and residence in UCF DHRL residence facilities during one agreement period does not guarantee that residence accommodations will be offered to the Student for any following periods. The Student is solely responsible for the timely completion of housing agreements for future periods. UCF DHRL housing agreements shall not be re-offered to residents who are unwilling to adhere to the basic elements of good housekeeping, and community living. UCF DHRL housing agreements shall not be re-offered to residents who disregard or violate rules, regulations, or policies established for governing UCF DHRL residential facilities. Finally, housing agreements shall not be re-offered to residents who have outstanding charges from UCF DHRL.

  • Renewal of Agreements The Agreement with TIPS is for one (1) year with an option for renewal for additional consecutive years as provided in the solicitation. Total term of Agreement can be up to the number of years provided in the solicitation, if sales are reported through the Agreement and both parties agree. Automatic Renewal Clauses Incorporated in Awarded Vendor Agreements with TIPS Members Resulting from the Solicitation and with the Vendor Named in this Agreement. No Agreement for goods or services with a TIPS member by the awarded vendor named in this Agreement that results from the solicitation award named in this Agreement, may incorporate an automatic renewal clause with which the TIPS member must comply. All renewal terms incorporated in an Agreement by the vendor with the TIPS member shall only be valid and enforceable when the vendor receives written confirmation by purchase order or executed Agreement issued by the TIPS member for any renewal period. The purpose of this clause is to avoid a TIPS member inadvertently renewing an Agreement during a period in which the governing body of the TIPS member has not properly appropriated and budgeted the funds to satisfy the Agreement renewal. This term is not negotiable and any Agreement between a TIPS member and a TIPS awarded vendor with an automatic renewal clause that conflicts with these terms is rendered void and unenforceable.

  • Non-Renewal of Contract In the event that you do not enter into a Renewal Contract, Embrace® will maintain your database information in read-only format for one (1) year from the date of termination of this Contract or subsequent failure to renew.   • DURATION AND RENEWAL OF AGREEMENT (a) The term of this Agreement shall be from April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2012 and thereafter from year to year unless or until either party gives notice in writing to bargain during the three (3) month period preceding the date of its termination.
