- Noncertificated - Years of Service. An employee’s years of service in the School System shall be carried with the employee if the employee transfers from a noncertificated position to another noncertificated position. The sole intent of this provision is to allow the transferring employee advancement on the salary schedule. The years of service carried forward shall not be calculated in determining an employee’s seniority in his new position for purposes of promotion, reduction in force, bidding on vacancies or for any other purpose.
