Common use of NOTICE OF CHANGE OF SCHEDULE Clause in Contracts

NOTICE OF CHANGE OF SCHEDULE. Where a work schedule change is made for a one (1) to four (4) day period and is necessary due to circumstances beyond the control of the Employer, the employee must be notified before normal quitting time on the day previous to the change. Otherwise, three (3) working days’ notice shall be given. Where the change is for a period of greater than four (4) working days, the employee shall be notified one (1) calendar week previous to the change. Where the above notice is not given, double (2X) time shall be paid for all hours worked on the first day of the change.
