Notice of Closure / Permanent Layoff. The Employer shall notify all employees who are to be affected by the permanent closure of all or any portion of the Employer’s operation, or who are to be permanently laid off, four (4) weeks prior to the effective date of such closure/ layoff (or such longer period as may be required by legislation) or shall award pay in lieu thereof.
