NOTICE OF MILITARY SERVICE. The Employer complies with the Uniform Services Employment and Reemployment Right Act (USERRA), 38 USC, Chapter 43 Employment and Reemployment Rights of Members of the Uniformed Services. An employee whose absence from employment is necessitated by reason of duty in the uniformed services, shall notify the Department Head or designee of the upcoming military service requirements. Benefits provided for employees absent under this Article shall be provided consistent with the Uniform Services Employment and Reemployment Right Act (USERRA), 38 USC, Chapter 43 Employment and Reemployment Rights of Members of the Uniformed Services and/or current policy as approved by the Board of Commissioners.
