Common use of Notice of Resumption of Employment Clause in Contracts

Notice of Resumption of Employment. A teacher who wishes to resume working on the expiration of a maternity leave or parental leave shall give the School Division at least four (4) weeks written notice of the date on which the teacher intends to resume work and, in no event not later than four (4) weeks before the end of the leave period to which the teacher is entitled, or four (4) weeks before the date on which the teacher has specified as the end of the teacher’s leave period, whichever is earlier.
