Common use of Notice of Retirement Clause in Contracts

Notice of Retirement. Employees must notify the Board, in writing, thirty (30) days prior to retirement, except in cases of medical or disability retirement or such other unplanned or unanticipated event which results in less than thirty (30) days notice, of the employee’s intention to retire. This notification is required in order to be eligible for payment for unused accumulated sick leave as set forth in paragraph “F” above. A. Hours of Work
