Retirement and Resignation. In addition to the benefits provided in Section 1, Food Service Personnel who have been employed with the School District since on or before July 1, 1994 and who resigns from the School District shall be eligible for resignation pay according to the following provisions:
Retirement and Resignation. Section a. Retirement information can be obtained upon request from the Human Resource Services Center (HRSC). Contact Section b. Employees are free to resign at any time, to set the effective date of the resignation, and to have the reasons for resigning entered into their official records. The Employer may decline a request to withdraw a resignation before its effective date only when the Employer has a valid reason and explains that reason to the employee. A resignation may not be withdrawn after its effective date. Section c. The Employer will provide an informational package for employees nearing retirement upon request, which will deal with general retirement issues and special retirement considerations of employees retiring. This information will be provided at no cost to the employee.
Retirement and Resignation. Section 32.1 A retiring or resigning employee of the Police Department shall notify the Chief of Police, in writing, of the employee’s intention to resign or retire. Notification shall be given at least one month prior to the employee’s last scheduled day of employment. All items issued by the Department that are required to be returned, shall be returned to the Department at the employee’s earliest opportunity after the effective date of separation. No final compensation or separation pay will be issued to the former employee until such time that all required equipment has been returned or accounted for and its return waived by the Chief of Police. Section 32.3 With the approval of the Chief of Police, a retiring sergeant with ten (10) years of service with the City of Sharonville Police Department may be eligible to purchase the duty weapon carried by the sergeant during his/her career for One ($1.00) Dollar. Section 32.4 A retiring employee shall retain possession of the issued breast badges, if the employee so desires. Section 32.5 A retiring employee will be furnished with an identification card that indicates that the employee has retired as a sergeant from the Police Department.

To select such Early Retirement Incentive, the teacher must submit to the Board an irrevocable written notice of intent to retire and resignation no later than August 1st, of the second calendar year prior to the designated final year of teaching and provide written proof from the TRS that said retirement will not result in any penalty. During the final teaching year, teachers receiving the Early Retirement Incentive will be paid according to the salary schedule for the current school year. The balance of the Local Early Retirement Incentive will be paid in the last pay period in June, following the school term of the year of retirement. Providing timely notice is given as required in the preceding paragraph, the District will increase the teacher’s salary in each of the final years (one, two, or three years), of service by an aggregate amount of 6% for each said year. Increases shall only be paid for those years remaining on the teachers’ window of eligibility, as specified in the preceding paragraph. A teacher may be eligible and elect either a three, two, or one year Early Retirement Incentive based on the timing of notice and their window of eligibility.
