Common use of Notice of Clause in Contracts

Notice of. In the event of a proposed lay-off at the Hospital of a permanent or long-term nature or the elimination of a position within the bargaining unit, the Hospital shall: provide the Union with no less than six months' written notice of the proposed layoff or elimination of position; and

Notice of. In the event of a proposed lay-off layoff at the Hospital of a permanent or long-term nature or the elimination of a position within the bargaining unitnature, the Hospital shall: provide the Union with no less than six months' five (5) months written notice of the proposed layoff layoff; and provide to the affected if any, no less than five (5) months written notice of layoff, or elimination of position; andpay in lieu thereof.
