Common use of Notification of Layoffs Clause in Contracts

Notification of Layoffs. Prior to notification of layoff to bargaining unit members who have attained professional teacher status, there shall occur consultation between the Organization and the Superintendent-Director or his designee with the goal of resolving potential disputes concerning the order of layoff. Such consultation shall be without prejudice to either the Committee or the Organization.
