Notification of Reemployment Opening. A. Any unit member who is laid off and is subsequently eligible for reemployment shall be notified in writing by the District of an opening. Such notice shall be sent by certified mail to the address given the District by the unit member, or by personal contact, and the District shall notify CSEA after the third refusal for employment within the classification from which the unit member was laid off, their name shall be removed from the reemployment list. Itis the responsibility of the laid off unit member to keep the District Human Resources Office informed of a current mailing address. B. The laid off unit member shall have their name restored to the reemployment list upon written request to the Director of Classified Personnel. If the laid off unit member subsequently refuses an employment offer, their name shall be removed from the reemployment list permanently.
